Bridge Course

Morning Star Arts and Science College for Women introduced bridge course in English Language skills to the students. It has been a regular practice for the first year students for all the discipline to learn spoken English in the academic year 2022-2023.This course was designed with the purpose of introducing newly admitted students about communicative competency as well as how to read & write. Keeping in mind the vastly different pedagogical systems followed by the school, the course was spread over to a period of one week from 22.08.2022 to 26.08.2022 with five lectures per day. This course aims to create a love for English. The significance of English Language is explained to the learners. This course improves the Self-confidence to the newly admitted students to use the language for functional purposes. Teaching aids were used for the purpose. The Course helped a lot to understand the importance of learning English for the feature of the learners. At the end of the day of Bridge Course all the first year students submitted their feedback. They expressed their gratitude to Rev.Fr. Arul Raj SDB through activities and also they thanked the Morning Star Arts and Science College for Women who organised this course for them.
