About department
The department of Computer Science is one of the leading departments in the college. The objective of the department is to enrich computer knowledge of men and women from the rural background. It is one of the popular courses for the students who dream of building their career in the IT (Information Technology) field. The Department has Well Equipped Computer Lab and Spacious Classrooms which enable a healthy Teaching Learning process. We are conducting Guest Lectures, Seminars, Workshops, Exhibition, Video Conference programmes for students to increase the knowledge.
Our Mission
To impart the knowledge of current technologies and to equip the students with required skill sets and personality traits such as team building and communication skills besides the contents of the syllabus.
Our Vision
To teach the foundations of Computer Science to a level to gain mastery over the subject and to develop interest so as to address basic questions of Computer science, to be creative and to think further to find answers for them without losing ethical character of life.
Activities of the Department
Parents teachers Meet
Parents of all the students are informed about the meet in well advance and invited for the same. All the parents make it a point to attend this meeting and they have very good interaction with the staff. They are informed about the progress of their wards and asked to encourage them on a consistent basis.
Mentoring Sessions for the students of Computer Science
Every student is given individual attention in mentoring sessions and his/her suggestions/grievances are well-attended to. These sessions create a platform for the students to express themselves freely and to grow psychologically
